A homeowner reached out to Klaus Roofing Systems of Ohio after discovering a leak in their garage. Unsure of how old the roof was, they wanted to ensure the issue was resolved with a long-lasting solution. The homeowner opted for a full roof replacement with a durable 50-year asphalt shingle system for maximum protection. Our team began by removing the old shingles and inspecting the roof deck for any damage. Once the deck was prepped, we installed a high-quality underlayment to protect against future leaks. Next, we began laying the 50-year asphalt shingles, ensuring precise alignment and proper sealing.
The project went smoothly, and the homeowner was pleased with how efficiently the roof replacement was completed. As shown in the photos, the new roof dramatically improved both the appearance and functionality of the home. The 50-year shingles not only provided peace of mind but also enhanced the overall curb appeal. At Klaus Roofing Systems of Ohio, we focus on delivering long-lasting, high-quality solutions that keep homes safe and protected for years to come.
Richard contacted Klaus Roofing of Ohio regarding a leak in the roof we installed a few years ago. The leak was coming into a room on the back side of his home, where the roof had been affected by storm damage. Upon inspection, we identified damaged IKO Cambridge Dual Brown shingles and underlying materials.
Following the Klaus Roofing way, our team quickly assessed the damage and provided a solution that addressed both the immediate leak and long-term durability. We replaced 1 square of rubber roofing, 2 squares of shingles, 3 pieces of ISO board, and 3 pieces of OSB to restore the roof’s structure. This comprehensive approach ensured that Richard’s roof would be fully protected from future weather events. With the repairs complete, Richard now has peace of mind knowing his home is secure once again.
This home was in need of new ridge vents as the old ones were damaged. The project manager installed new ridge vents in a few hours.
Ridge vents are arguably the most important vents in any "passive" (non-electric) roof ventilation system. Hot air that accumulates inside the attic rises by convection and escapes outside through ridge vents.
