Roof Replacement in Etna, OH

Challenge

Klaus Roofing of Ohio is a residential and commercial roofing company serving the greater Columbus area. We specialize in replacing shingles, including installing new roofs and repairing old ones. We also provide gutter and insulation services.

One day, we received a call from a homeowner in Etna, OH. She said that there were missing and loose shingles on her roof. This was causing water to leak into her home. We sent one of our experienced inspectors out to inspect the damage and give a free estimate.

Solution

The inspector determined that we needed to remove all the old underlayment, install new plywood on the roof deck as needed, and replace all the shingles. Because we wanted to make sure that this job was done right, we also sealed all the gaps between the wood with roof deck tape before installing the new shingles.

After our crew completed this project, we had a very satisfied customer who no longer had water leaking into her home!

This part of the ridge vent was broken off before and this was also allowing water to enter the home.

The crew had to replace the wood of the roof decking in two places where it was damaged and allowing water into the home.
