Insulating an Attic in Lockbourne, OH
Challenge
Joshua A. was having some problems with the insulation in his attic. It was old and dirty, and it wasn't doing its job to insulate the home. So, he called Klaus Roofing of Ohio to come and take care of it.
Our certified inspector, Brian Thom went out to the home to inspect the attic and let Joshua know how we could help him. He provided the free estimate and Joshua decided to go with Klaus for his project.
Solution
We sucked out all the old insulation and replaced it with TruSoft cellulose insulation, which is made from recycled paper products like cardboard and newspapers, which means that it's better for the environment than regular fiberglass insulation. This type of insulation is also mold-resistant—it won't get moldy if there's moisture in the air because it doesn't absorb moisture like other types of insulation do. It also has a better R-value than most other types of insulation. This means it has a high ability to resist heat flow.
Joshua A. is happy with what we did for him and has a more energy-efficient home that stays cool in summer and warm in winter!
