We began by fully removing the poorly installed roof, clearing the way for a fresh start. Our crew installed two rows of Klaus Roofing Systems' Sealoron XT Ice & Water Barrier (or equivalent), extending 6 feet from all eaves and wrapping 1 inch over the fascia for added edge protection. Additional barrier coverage was placed 3 feet into all valleys and 18 inches around chimneys, skylights, dormers, and other roof/wall intersections-ensuring a watertight shield in all vulnerable areas. Purpose-made IKO Starter Shingles with Fastlock sealant were installed around the entire perimeter, setting the stage for a long-lasting roofing system. We then applied Dynasty Architectural Shingles in a striking Emerald Green finish-boasting a large nailing surface, ArmourZone tear-resistant reinforcement, Fastlock adhesive, and a 130 MPH wind warranty at 231 pounds per square.
