Step 1 - Remove Old Roofing Materials
First, the crew needed to remove all of the old shingles and other materials.
Step 2 - Seal Gaps Between Roof Decking Boards
We take care to use deck tape to seal the gaps between boards in the roof decking. This creates a last resort barrier between water and the home in case of a storm or other emergency.
Step 3 - Underlayment Installed
After removing everything and sealing the cracks, the crew installed new underlayment. This is a synthetic layer of protection under the shingles.
Step 4 - Expertly Install Shingles
The crew here is almost finished installing the new shingles on the home.
